Introduction#
This collection of information was put together by me, Nathaniel, to organize thoughts and prepare the world of Urd for other outlets other than dungeons and dragons or storytelling. Such outlets as video games or my personal writing have proven as viable options. Sedia has been a continent of my imagination since I’ve been young. I drew pictures of monsters and read about the mysteries of magic and fantasy. Throughout these years the continent of Sedia has grown in size and complexity and has been taken under the wing by numerous other people within my trust to form and make definite its shape. I’m proud to see the continent as it is now and how progressively it has grown. PLOSDP stands for Plains of Sedia Documentary Project. This project started out as a collection of all the viable information that might have been labeled important to me at one time. The Documentary Project is a constantly growing core rulebook for the world of Urd and its contents. Because the project has been released to the public, it is with the help of the public that I will forge this world forward. Any suggestions, additions, or criticisms of the document can be dictated to me, its writer, at [email protected] or at my studios homepage www.theoestudio.com. The continent of Sedia has grown from various ideas originating mostly from the real world but inspired by many fictitious worlds, books, games, and even fairy tales throughout the years. It will keep intact its core concepts dictated here and all content added thus should not contradict any information found within. The document is both a source for storytelling adventures and video game adventures. Because of this, information may be found incompatible with one or the other on a case-to-case scenario. Hopefully in the future the document will have an easier way of distinguishing these differences. Meanwhile I apologize for any inconvenience this may incur. In the case of aspirants using this document for storytelling sessions, your sessions should be documented sufficiently and given to me for the possibility of integrating said sessions into the structure of the document contained within. At any rate I hope this project will prove useful for you as much as it has me and I wish you the best in all of your adventures.
Historic Campaigns#
With the passing of time, new storytelling campaigns are released. These campaigns are the bulk of the hub generating content and lore for PLOS. As time passes in the main campaigns, so too does time pass in Urd and the video games that encompass it. All content explored or uncovered in the campaign is concurrently added to the worlds elsewhere. This means that characters in later campaigns or within the video games will be able to interact with previous campaign characters if they are still alive.
Historic Campaigns include:
- Rise of Mandak by Nathaniel Inman
- Breath of a New Nation by Nathaniel Inman
- White Fire by Richard Antal
- Tears of Blood by Nathaniel Inman
- House Xorcos by Nathaniel Inman
Storytelling group members include:
- Elizabeth Rivers as Xorica
- Richard Antal as Julius Mandak, Penn and Dente
- Aerica Neeland as Lela Davenport and Lyssa
- Ashley Lindley as Evelyn Elswin, Anowyn and Isda
- Nathaniel Inman as Smee
