Getting Started#
When creating a character for a storytelling session you use the Plains of Sedia character sheet. The video game walks you through the steps automatically. The character sheet is the most pivotal part of a DND session; it is your characters entire life. Become acquainted with the character sheet, it determines all factors regarding your character from their: health, damage dealt, descriptions of looks, inventory, and many other things. Sometimes it’s helpful to carry a notebook to a session for additional notes for things you should remember, annotating maps upon exploration, keeping track of money or health among various other things that may arise to help supplement the character sheet. This basic outline is in no way a strict requirement, but a helpful guide in easing the creation of your character, in addition to notes regarding the basic rules of changing information.
