The tlatecuhtli is a little frog that teachers at the Mage Spire love to use as a lesson in life, death and rebirth. When one dies it floats up off the ground and hangs in the air for a few minutes, then drops back down alive and new. They're timid and live in the ponds and pools of Menusia and Tharsis. Killing one mostly wastes a few minutes.

Fire Creatures

Fire Creatures#

The caladrius is a snow-white bird that can tell when someone is close to death. It swoops down and feeds on the sickness, and sometimes the sick one lives. Nobles have paid fortunes in dover to catch one, and none has ever stayed caught.
