A half-elf minstrel of Crecia

Half-elves are born to an elf and a human, or to two half-elves, and most would rather you didn't notice the elf part. They're quick on their feet and welcome in nearly every city but Narsis and Jewall.

How they live#

Half-elves are rare, found mostly in Tharsis and Crecia, and they usually hide the elven half under a hood or a story. A child of an elf and a human only comes out a half-elf some of the time; the rest take after one parent or the other.

They live about twice as long as humans and less than a quarter as long as elves, so they spend their lives watching one side of the family die young and the other hardly age.
