Half-Orc#
Both sides of my family want me to pick one. I picked the side holding the axe.
Half-orcs come out of the northern reach, where orc raids on human villages have gone on for generations. They're built like orcs, live hard and short lives, and are welcome in Narsis and not many other places.
How they live#
A half-orc is born to an orc and a human, or to two half-orcs, though a child of an orc and a human takes after one parent as often as not. Half-orcs are strong and tough, and seventy is old for one.
Most grow up in human villages, where they’re the first one blamed when something goes missing and the first one asked when something needs lifting.

They have our arms and the humans' patience. That's the dangerous combination.

Both sides of the raid
An orc warband raids a human village where a half-orc in the party, or one they owe, has family on both sides.
