Sprite#

The sprite sigil

Nobody listens to a sprite. That's what makes us such good listeners.

A sprite gravedigger

Sprites are the pixies' other half: tiny, all men, made by Lythantos in the Age of Peace. They lean on intelligence where pixies lean on wisdom, and they get along with kobolds better than anyone.

How they live#

Every sprite’s child is a pixie or a sprite. Pixies say the clever ones take after their mothers.

Natural armor 5 is the lowest any race has. A sprite’s first coin should go on armor.

Temper
Slow to anger. In hard times they turn on other races first.
Leaving
When a city turns bad they leave all together, the whole community at once.
Money
Save little.
Crowds
Feel crowded long before anyone else does.
Tongue
Sylvan, spoken from birth and known perfectly, besides common.
Drawn to
Kobolds and pixies, as much as to their own kind.
Children with pixies
Pixie 50%, Sprite 50%

What others say#

Sprites remember everything you said in front of them, and you said a lot, because you thought it was a bird.

A human fence of Narsis

A kobold and a sprite at the same table is either a wedding or a heist.

A goblin barkeep of Narsis

Where they live#

How sprites feel about settling in each of Sedia’s provinces. Each links to the province’s page, and Home Province covers what it takes to become a citizen of one.

Playing a sprite#

Any race can take any class. These are the ones sprites start closest to, with the race’s starting score in each of the class’s two stats.

Heard it from a sprite

A sprite says he overheard a murder being planned, and nobody believes him but the party. He won’t say where he was at the time.

Names#

Short and closed, one or two syllables, always ending on a consonant. Logan So’lahar, Corvith On’thill, Brin Al’dris.
