Leatherworking#

Materials for leatherworking can be acquired by skinning animals for hides and tanning the skins or by salvaging existing leather from existing items.

Tanning Leather#

The first phase of creating leather products is the actual procurement of leather itself. Leather is acquired by skinning an animals hide and putting that hide through a certain tanning type to produce a type of leather. There are multiple leather types. Leather may also be acquired by salvaging existing leather equipment. Leatherworking Process

Crafting Product#

The last phase of creating leather products consists the use of multiple tools in converting an existing tanned leather hide into a specific design for equipment. Leatherworking Process
