The master#
Hin Vin lives in a stilt house at the north edge of Mellowdeep Marsh and hasn’t come into a town in years. Students who reach him find him sitting perfectly still, and he often won’t speak until the will-o-wisps come out.
Find Hin Vin at a stilt house just north of Mellowdeep Marsh, in Tharsis. Where the masters teach maps all fourteen.
How it shows#
None of this changes a roll. It’s how the people around you can tell what you walk, if you want them to.
- You stand and walk with your hands knotted together.
- You go completely still when you’re thinking.
Who walks it#
The classes the rode does the most for. Any class can walk it.
The rode finder ranks every rode for a class.
What others say#
Hin Vin's walkers come out of the marsh looking like they've slept a week, and they haven't slept at all.
I asked Hin Vin what cognition was. He waited until I'd answered it myself.
Lights on the marsh
The will-o-wisps of Mellowdeep Marsh have started leading travelers to Hin Vin’s stilt house, and he didn’t ask them to. He wants to know who’s steering them, and he’d rather not leave the house to find out.
