Destruction#
Power over others is easily had with force. Everything else is a slower way of saying so.
The rode of hitting harder. Every attack that lands does more damage, and nothing about it pretends to be anything else.
Ranks and tests#
Damage. Add it to the damage of every attack that hits, weapon or unarmed. +2 at rank 1, up to +10 at rank 5. Rodes of war has the rest of its kind.

Beat Damied in front of the furnace crews. He won't hold back, and the crews will remember it either way.
The master#
Damied Ankari breaks ingots at the Kinforge furnaces with a hammer the smiths need two hands to lift. He takes anyone who can lift it, and he has no interest in why they want to learn.
Find Damied Ankari at the furnaces at Kinforge, in Tharsis. Where the masters teach maps all fourteen.
How it shows#
None of this changes a roll. It’s how the people around you can tell what you walk, if you want them to.
- You grip a weapon tighter than you need to, and your knuckles show it.
- Things near you get broken: cups, chairs, a door now and then.
Who walks it#
The classes the rode does the most for. Any class can walk it.
The rode finder ranks every rode for a class.
What others say#
Ankari doesn't teach. He hands you the hammer and waits to see what breaks first, the ingot or you.
Destruction is a fine rode for someone who already knows what they're angry at.
The cracked hammer
Damied’s hammer has split along the haft, and he says only a smith in Jewall can rework it. He won’t let it out of his sight, so whoever walks his rode carries it there and back with him, through country where people remember the things he’s broken.
