Faith#
Faith binds what you're afraid of and makes you strong. It opens your eyes to your own existence and gives it a reason.
The rode of belief. It restores your health on its own, a little every turn, for as long as you keep fighting.
Ranks and tests#

When a rode of renewal restores
Roll your rank’s die at the start of each of your turns in a fight and restore that much. Outside a fight, roll it once for every hour you rest. It never takes you past your maximum, and it can’t bring you back from 0 health.

The master#
Prophet Qora preaches from the steps of an old chapel in Hale to whoever stops, and more stop every year. Every walker asks which god Qora speaks for, and Qora gives every one of them a different answer.
Find Prophet Qora at the steps of an old chapel in Hale, in Crecia. Where the masters teach maps all fourteen.
How it shows#
None of this changes a roll. It’s how the people around you can tell what you walk, if you want them to.
- You pray when you’re idle, in whatever words you were raised with.
- A faint light rests on you, brightest when you’re hurt.
Who walks it#
The classes the rode does the most for. Any class can walk it.
The rode finder ranks every rode for a class.
What others say#
The prophet in Hale told me my god's name. I hadn't told anyone I had one.
Faith walkers get up. That's what I see. The ones who should stay down get up.
The prophet’s question
Pilgrims are coming to Hale by the hundred to hear Prophet Qora, and the priests of the Temple of Goad want to know which god Qora speaks for before the next hundred arrive. They’ve asked Qora’s walkers to find out. Qora has asked them to tell the priests whatever they find.
