Purity#
There's the pure self, and the self that fights to go on existing. The second one is the one that gets sick.
The rode of a body that holds. It raises your constitution, and with it your health and how well you shrug off poison and disease.
Ranks and tests#
Each rank adds to your constitution: +1 CON at rank 1, up to +5 CON at rank 5. The bonus sits on top of your score and isn’t held to the maximum training can reach. Rodes of the self has the rest of its kind.

Spend a season at the shrine with nothing you didn't carry up, and come down healthier than you went.
The master#
Thomas Moar tends the Dwarven Shrine in Jewall’s high passes, a human among dwarves who stopped noticing decades ago. He eats once a day, sleeps on stone and hasn’t been ill in forty years.
Find Thomas Moar at the Dwarven Shrine in the high passes of Jewall. Where the masters teach maps all fourteen.
How it shows#
None of this changes a roll. It’s how the people around you can tell what you walk, if you want them to.
- Butterflies find you, even in the mountains, even in winter.
- A faint ring of light shows above your head in the dark.
Who walks it#
The classes the rode does the most for. Any class can walk it.
The rode finder ranks every rode for a class.
What others say#
Moar's walkers come to Ironholde when the fever's in. Nobody else does, and the guards let them.
A human at our shrine. I complained for ten years. Then I got sick, and he climbed down to me.
Fever in Ironholde
Fever has broken out in Ironholde Prison, and the warden has sealed the gates. Thomas Moar wants medicine carried in. The warden wants nobody coming back out, and some of the prisoners want very much to leave with whoever does.
